Lend Me Your Brain:
Practical Strategies for Managing ADD/ADHD and Executive Dysfunction
CEUs are available

Lend Me Your Brain dynamically presents a comprehensible approach for supporting children and adults with ADD/ADHD. The workshop includes an overview of the brain science supporting non-pharmacological treatment interventions targeting focus, distractibility, and behavioral management.

Dr. Nowell says,"I fully believe that realizing dreams and living a fulfilled life are possible for someone who happens to have inattention, hyperactivity, and disorganization—if they have the right tools and are taught to use them. While some of the cookbook-type “recipes” available out there may be helpful, there is no “one size fits all' solution; each person and situation is unique." Lend Me Your Brain provides a basic formula that can be adapted to any individual and situation. Using this approach, changes can be made as the individual grows and progresses in managing his/her focus and energy.

The role of Lend Me Your Brain in the workplace...
It is a well-known fact that employee retention is far more cost effective than hiring and training new employees. Distractibility and lack of focus can strangle the effectiveness of even the brightest and best trained employees. Dr. Nowell is passionate about helping the people in your group make the best possible choices about their commitments and obligations. He is convinced that with a basic understanding of our own reward and planning system—the way our brains work—we can make the best use of our time and energy resources at work.
